Ziggy Marley has been an everpresent force in reggae music ever since his father, Bob Marley taught him how to play the guitar and drums. From there, his artistry only continued to grow with each album release. His 2018 album, Rebellion Rises, is his most recent and possibly his most critically acclaimed release of all time. The album deals with systemic issues we as people face by the hands of politicians, oppressors, and each other, but does so using classic reggae musicality, making it the powerful piece of music it is. Joining the iconic Ziggy Marley on their upcoming Do The Reggae Tour is none other than the genre defining man himself, Burning Spear. Winston Rodney OD, more commonly known by his stage name Burning Spear, has been making music since Bob Marley was still alive. And now, after all these years, he’s set to perform alongside his old friend’s son, Ziggy. 

The two are setting out on the highly anticipated US-only Do The Reggae Tour later this year, with their first date being a stop in Baltimore, Maryland on September 16th 2025 at the Pier Six Pavilion, but you can catch them when they touch down in Tulsa, Oklahoma for a show in the Paradise Cove at River Spirit on October 2nd.
